66203 / 66204 Digital Power Meter

66203 / 66204 Digital Power Meter

The Chroma 66204 is a 4 channel (66203/3 channels) power meter which is designed for multiple phase power measurement applications. The wiring function allows users to take accurate power measuremenst based on different wiring configurations, by selecting  (1P2W / 1P3W / 3P3W / 3P4W). The  66204 is also capable of providing accurate measurements of related parameters common to most electronic products.

Instead of traditional analogue measurement circuits, the 66204 uses state-of-the-art DSP digitizing technology. The internal 16 bit analogue/digital converters, with sampling rates of up to 250kHz, provide both high speed and high accuracy measurements, currently unprecedented within the industry for this class of power meter.

The instruments include a four part display with a 7-segment LED front panel readout. Users can easily select desired parameters and readouts at a touch of a button. Instruments also include remote control using USB or GPIB interfaces via rear panel connections.

The 66204 is packaged in a 3U high, half rack enclosure suitable for bench top or system integration. The 66204 power meter is capable of supporting an external shunt and CT for current measurement application. The 4 channel power meter is suitable for conducting 3 phase PV inverter efficiency testing.

The 66204 power meter includes a 2-shunt design to provide highly accurate readings for both low and high current measurements, the  66204 also supports features such as Inrush current, Total Harmonic Distortion of V/I, and Energy measurements. With these practical functions, the 66204 power meter is suitable for the most demanding of R&D and quality control departments.
