Hioki DT4253 DIGITAL MULTIMETER

Hioki DT4253 DIGITAL MULTIMETER

Introducing the Hioki DT4253 Digital Multimeter – a standard DMM that delivers top safety and reliability for your HVAC testing needs. With its ±0.5% DC V accuracy, temperature and clamp sensor testing, and wide 40 Hz to 1 kHz bandwidth, this digital multimeter is designed to take electrical testing to a higher level.

The DT4253 is part of Hioki’s DT4250 series of standard digital multimeters, and is ideal for measuring instrumentation, air conditioning equipment, and gas-burning devices. It features a CAT IV 600 V, CAT III 1000 V rating, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

  • Hioki DT4221: This model is a compact digital multimeter with a variety of measurement capabilities, including voltage, current, resistance, frequency, and temperature.
  • Hioki DT4222: This model is similar to the DT4221 but without the capacitance measurement capability.
  • Hioki DT4223: This model is similar to the DT4222 but with the capacitance and temperature measurement capabilities.
  • Hioki DT4252: This model is designed for measuring low-level currents, with a range of 2mA to 20mA.
  • Hioki DT4253: This model is similar to the DT4252 but with a higher current measurement range of 2mA to 200mA.
  • Hioki DT4255: This model is designed for measuring high voltages and currents, up to 600V and 10A, respectively.
  • Hioki DT4256: This model is similar to the DT4255 but with slightly higher voltage and current measurement capabilities (up to 1000V and 20A, respectively).
  • Hioki DT4261: This model has a high resolution and accuracy and is designed for use in industrial settings.
  • Hioki DT4281: This model is designed for high-speed measurement and can measure up to 120,000 times per second.
  • Hioki DT4282: This model is similar to the DT4281 but also includes a built-in data logger for recording measurements over time.

This digital multimeter can measure DC current in the range of 60.00 μA to 60.00 mA, temperature from -40.0°C to 400.0°C, and also accepts an AC clamp sensor. It can accurately measure very low currents such as burner flame currents with its 600.00 μA range.

The DT4253 also features a percentage display for instrumentation signal 4 to 20 mA measurements, making it easy to convert and display instrumentation signals representing properties such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate from a transducer or other device.

With its clamp-on sensor based current measurement functionality, the DT4253 eliminates the root cause of accidents caused by mistakenly measuring voltage using the current range, which may lead to a short-circuit.

It also comes equipped with a low-pass filter function that eliminates harmonic components, allowing you to measure output voltage on the secondary sides of inverters with accuracy.

You can easily download, review, and save measurement data to a computer with the optional Communication Package DT4900-01. The DT4253 also features true RMS measurement capability for accurate measurement of even distorted current waveforms.

Designed and manufactured in Japan, this digital multimeter comes with a 3-year warranty for peace of mind. It is important to note that safe measurement requires the use of an instrument that suits the measurement location, and the DT4253 is classified as CAT IV 600 V, CAT III 1000 V for your safety.

Upgrade your electrical testing with the Hioki DT4253 Digital Multimeter – the standard DMM that delivers top safety and reliability for HVAC testing.
