The SH-R Tubular Impulse Current Measuring Shunt is an advanced solution for high-accuracy measurement of high impulse currents in high-voltage test labs. It delivers precise wave shape measurements of current strength and duration using a metal cylinder with coupling flanges and a coaxial measuring connector. This design ensures superior electrical conductivity and long-lasting durability, while separate shunts for each resistance value allow for selection of the most suitable one for your specific needs and for obtaining the most precise readings possible.

The SH-R shunts can measure impulse currents up to 100 kA with a voltage drop of 500 V at the standard repetition rate. You can also reduce the repetition rate to measure impulse currents up to 200 kA with a voltage drop of 1000 V, making them highly accurate and ideal for a wide range of high-voltage testing applications.

For even greater precision, the SH-R shunts can be used together with the HAEFELY HiAS 744 highest resolution impulse analyzing system. This system displays the wave shape of the measured current with exceptional precision, providing high-voltage testing labs with a reliable and effective solution that delivers unparalleled accuracy and performance.

Each resistance value is a separate shunt. The standard repetition rate allows measuring impulse currents up to 100 kA (voltage drop 500 V), and at reduced repetition rate up to 200 kA are possible (voltage drop 1000 V)
